A BAATN welcome

BAATN has previously focused its efforts on psychological therapists from Black, African, Asian and Caribbean heritage and in creating a community where we support each other in our practice and inspire our communities to be proactive around their mental health.

BAATN now wants to welcome complementary therapists from Black, African, Asian and Caribbean heritages to join us starting with a separate online directory specifically for complementary therapists. As the complementary therapist community grows, we plan to provide specific support in the same way we do for psychological therapists. For now, complementary therapist members will be entitled to discounted fees on specific BAATN events and training. We are not able to support complementary therapy students in this initial stage, but plan to do so in the future with the support of the complementary therapist community as it grows and develops.

Eligibility for inclusion

Eligibility for inclusion in the directory is dependant on relevant qualifications and full registration with an accrediting professional body.

Examples of registering bodies are the Association of Master Herbalists, Association for Coaching, British Acupuncture Council, Society of Homeopaths etc.

To be included in the directory, members of the public will need to be able to find you listed on your registering body website as a full member.

Note: You will not appear in the directory immediately. Your entry will be verified and you will need to pay the yearly membership fee.

After you have registered as a Complementary therapist member, we will e-mail you with your personal user ID and password so that you can edit your listing, include your photograph etc. As a Complementary Therapist Directory Member, you can book discounted training and events.
