Practitioner Events

BAATN offers learning and healing spaces for therapist and others in the helping professions. These events are about being supported, feeling connected and being inspired in our roles as therapy practitioners and caring professionals. Through connection rather than isolation, there can be a liberation of energy and the development of our inner resources with which to pursue our ideals, as we face a radicalised world.

BAATN Practitioner Events bring together Black, African, South Asian and Caribbean therapy professionals, students and others in the helping professions for mutual support and inspiration – Our primary focus and area of expertise is to support people from these heritages. However, we are open to other People of Colour who are affected by prejudice due to the colour of their skin and global white power.

Open Practitioner Events provide professional skills development for therapy professionals, students and others in the helping professions of all heritages.

Community Events

Community Events are for the general public and about wellbeing, support, connection, inspiration and healing on a personal level. It’s about you as an individual, your relationship with yourself and your relationship to those you live and work with. These events support us to stay connected to what is important to us in our personal and collective lives.

These are gatherings for anyone of African, South Asian or Caribbean heritage for connection, inspiration and healing. Our primary focus and area of expertise is to support people from these heritages. However, we are open to other People of Colour who are affected by prejudice due to the colour of their skin and global white power.

The Facilitators

Facilitators of events and gatherings are qualified psychotherapists, counsellors or psychologists who have signed up to BAATN’s Core Values statement.
