This podcast features a talk given by Fakrhy Davids at the 2010 BAATN conference in London. Fakrhy Davids is a psychoanalyst working in London. He lived in South Africa under apartide where he was a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Cape Town. He has written and taught widely on the psychology of racism and has recently published a book called Internal Racism: A Psychoanalytic Approach to Race and Difference. Fakrhy lays out very engagingly and thoughtfully how internal racism works from both sides of the black white divide.
