Umaa Thampu has been working in a diverse mix of professional settings for over 10 years. Her background has been in social services and youth charities. Her interests are in cross cultural themes, shamanic, indigenous practices and working creatively to connect the body with nature and awareness. Umaa’s passion is enhancing people’s well- being and to help cultivate meaning. She offers a space to be curious and creative. Her approach enables clients to connect to their internal wisdom, amplifying mind – body connection. Umaa is currently in private practice, teaches counselling diploma course and is a Faculty member The Gestalt Centre, London.
