Robert Sookhan
Robert Sookhan is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, BACP Accredited Counsellor, and a Graduate Member of The British Psychological Society.
His counselling training was in Person-centred theory; his psychotherapy training focused on archetypal, post-Jungian, and Transpersonal perspectives. Robert has extensive experience offering staff counselling within the NHS and within Education (counselling in schools, FE & HE). As well as teaching, Robert supervises other counsellors’ clinical work in a variety of support services. He has led several initiatives around Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for a number of organisations.
Robert has worked for BAATN (Black, African and Asian Therapy Network) for 15 years and is a member of their Leadership & Advisory team. Currently, Robert is Head of Counselling at St George’s School of Health & Medical Sciences (City St George’s, University of London).
