Fiyaz Mughal OBE MBACP has worked with diverse and faith-based communities for over 25 years. Of East African Asian heritage, and a refugee from Idi Amin’s persecution of Asians in 1972, he takes a particular interest in how identity and belonging affect anxiety conditions, in this case – Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Fiyaz has worked with various government departments on policy related issues and their impacts on diverse communities and these have included the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
