This post is for our IAPT Mental Health Service, which provides short term therapy to clients experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression.


About the job 

We are looking to recruit a Senior High Intensity Therapist to join teams working across Kent & Surrey in our IAPT services.

This is a role for a qualified practitioner who is looking to expand their individual clinical practice to include Digital, Group & one to one CBT Step 3 NICE recommended interventions alongside providing Clinical Supervision to Trainee and Qualified Therapists.  You will be part of a MDT working within a stepped care model delivering an NHS contract.


What we’re looking for

You will hold a qualification from a High Intensity IAPT Course (at least Post Graduate Diploma). Accreditation with the BABCP is essential and HCPC registration would be advantageous. Qualifications in clinical supervision are desirable but not essential as a successful candidate will be supported in completing the IAPT supervisor’s course.

This job is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level with Barred List(s).

This is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours per week. These can be flexible hours between 8am and 8pm.

The position will be home based but occasional travel within Surrey or Kent is likely in the future for in person client work in the community, in person supervisions and team training/meetings.

You will also receive a Fringe London Weighting allowance of £942.00 per annum (pro-rata if part-time).
