We have a number of vacancies for counsellors and cognitive behavioural therapists to support our students to achieve their full academic and creative potential.
The posts offer an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to join our Counselling and Health Advice Service.
You will be an accredited (or awaiting accreditation application decision) Counsellor or Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with experience of working with a diverse range of issues to support students to engage successfully with their studies and University life. You will have the ability to work flexibly, experience of offering online and in person online and in person, skills for brief/time-limited work, a good understanding of the student support and risk management within an educational setting.
You will be based at a college site and have the option to work from home for part of your working week.
Vacant posts ranges from 0.4 (two days a week) to full time (5 days a week). Working on Saturdays (40 weeks a year) is also an option. There may be a requirement to work one evening a week up to 7pm.
