Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm Full Day, Half Day 8.30am -12pm (AM), Half Day 1pm – 4.30pm (PM)
Availability : Flexible – days and hours which suit your availability. Please note this is flexible bank cover work and will be on a zero hours contract basis.
Salary: from £62 – £161 per day (depending on role & location)

Are you a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist or Therapists looking to work with young people as a School Project Manager, Mental Health Practitioner, School Based Counsellor, Family Practitioner or Clinician?

We are recruiting to our Staff Bank, to build cover for schools up and down the country in situations where we have staff absences. This will help us adopt a much more proactive approach to filling gaps across our organisation. We would like to create a Staff Bank for all clinical roles and are particularly interested in applications for the following posts: School Project Manager, Mental Health Practitioner/Counsellor, School Based Counsellor, Family Practitioner, Associate School Project Manager to work in the above locations.

If your application is successful and you join our Staff Bank you may be called up on at short notice, on the days of availability to provide short-term clinical cover.

About You
To qualify, you will: 

Hold a recognised clinical qualification (in counselling, psychotherapy, clinical psychology, Art/Dance/Drama/Music Therapy)
Hold recognised membership of a relevant professional body(BACP/ PTUK/ UKCP/NCS/BPS)
Post qualified experience in a clinical role and an understanding of children, young people and schools
Understand how schools work in partnership with clinical practitioners and the importance of these relationship
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the importance of embedding Assessment and Formulation in clinical practice
Undertake work with parents, carers and school staff and to hold a clinical caseload with children or young people
experience of providing clinical and managerial supervision

In addition, you will:

• hold a current DBS registered on the online update service (England & Wales)
• provide proof of your eligible right to work in the UK
• completion of our SDD form (which will be issued to you once successful)
• provide proof of attendance at either external or Place2Be safeguarding training within the last 12 months. If this cannot be provided, you must commit to attending Place2Be safeguarding training.
