Wellbeing Practitioners

Cardiff University are excited to offer a rare opportunity for two qualified Wellbeing Practitioners to join our Wellbeing Team for a fixed term period. The successful candidates will work with autonomy delivering professional,  appropriate and proportional therapeutic interventions within an existing stepped care framework. Their work will facilitate young people in achieving their academic potential, by overcoming barriers related to emotional, psychological or mental health issues and support their transition to professional adult life.

Wellbeing Practitioners deliver a variety of low intensity, high volume wellbeing interventions to support students who are experiencing emotional, psychological and mental health issues during their time in University.

This roles are partly clinical, and therefore you are expected to have the appropriate qualifications and experience for delivery of evidence-based psychological interventions within a stepped care framework.

Two positions are available – one fixed term for 2 years and one fixed term for 18 months.
Both positions are full time (35 hours per week)
Salary: £27,511 – £31,866 per annum (Grade 5)
