Website Brighton Therapy Partnership
Training and CPD for Therapists
Brighton Therapy Partnership is a local, independent workshop and conference provider. We have been offering one-day CPD events to counsellors and psychotherapists for the past 10 years. We also have an established video library of conferences and therapy-based teaching available through our sister site ThEO (Therapy Education Online).
Like so many workshop providers we were hit badly by the Coronavirus pandemic, but we have a sound infrastructure and we are energetic and determined! We were also fortunate to receive a small grant from our local Council in Brighton to enable us to develop more online resources to enable us to remain a vibrant and sustainable provider of CPD to therapists.
The grant means that we are able to pay a limited number of freelance trainers or conference speakers to provide us with video-based presentations for our video library.
We are looking for:
* Any experienced trainer or speaker, who is sufficiently confident in front of a camera, to offer a video presentation on the topic of their choice, for which they will be paid.
The video presentation can be self-videoed via Zoom (or in some cases we can arrange for you to meet with a professional videographer).
*Any topic can be offered, as long as it is relevant to the practice of counselling and psychotherapy.
We are offering:
*A payment of £400 for a 90-minute video (we have funds to pay for 4 x 90-minute videos at the moment).
*Extensive exposure for your work via our various platforms. Our websites receive thousands of page views every day, we have an extensive following on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and a mailing list of 4,000 therapists. We regularly have delegates (either live or online) from all parts of the UK, Europe and the Amercias, and our videos are very popular with therapists.
Please bear in mind: in order to be commissioned to provide a video presentation you must first be prepared to provide a 250-word narrative description of your proposed training video, saying what your proposed training video would be about, some of the key themes, and what learners can expect to take from viewing. You will also be asked to submit a brief video of yourself self-recorded on Zoom of no more than 2 minutes, so we can see your presentation style. Alternatively, you can provide a link to any online material you already have recorded.
We look forward to hearing from anyone interested!
