VE Day (8th May), is a day when millions of people throughout the country fall silent to remember those who served in World War II. Let’s not however, forget the contributions to the war by people of colour. It’s very important to remember that if people of colour are not represented as part of Britain’s history, it becomes easy to exclude them from Britain’s future.
