• Narrative Therapy Principles that inform the Tree of Life Methodology
• Different parts of the methodology and the principles that underpin them

This workshop will explore themes addressed in Isha’s second book. (Title above) This two day training will enhance Therapists’ and professionals’ insight and practice when working with the hidden and voiced impact of black and Asian diversity and the impact of racism in professional support.

Aims: These 2 days will:

1. Support mental health and psycho-social practitioners to develop in-depth knowledge and skills of using tree of life methodology in therapeutic contexts
2. Enable mental health and psycho-social practitioners to preserve the fidelity of the Tree of Life methodology through developing an increased understanding of:
a) The history and the foundations of the methodology and the culturally sensitive Imbeleko Approach that underpins it
b)The application and adaptation of the Tree of Life into different therapeutic contexts including families and couples, groups and communities as well as organisations.
