Open Practitioner Event

The Wholeness Solution: Embedding Context, Identity and Equity into Training and Practice

Date: Wednesday 18th February 2026
Time: 12.30 – 2.00pm
Venue: Online via Zoom

 Outline

Introducing a bold new practice-based model called the Wholeness Solution for embedding normativity, diversity, equity and inclusion at the foundation of helping. Mamood shares an architecture that augments helping and practice from the ground up – ensuring equity is formally built in, at the beginning, not bolted on.
The training addresses the fragmentation between primary and secondary helping approaches by embedding context, diversity, and EDI (as required by SCoPEd and Ethical frameworks). It both strengthens this foundation and integrates, from the outset, components traditionally viewed as secondary, such as identity, diversity, neurodiversity, worldviews, knowledge, power, embodiment (including harm, stress and trauma), and intersectionality. By doing so, we establish a stronger foundation for helping and minimise the risk of harm or insufficient service provision.
Members will be able to reimagine and embed their understanding of the helping relationship and attuned understanding, thereby strengthening their conceptualisation in ways that embed social/personal context, normativity/diversity, and EDI rather than separating them. This reorientation extends to self-development, relational practice, attuned  conceptualisation, teaching, and training curricula design. Free, shareable models and resources will be provided to support comprehensive embedded practice.

Aims of the training

To understand and begin applying ‘the Wholeness Solution’ or ‘Whole-Person Practice’ that embeds context, culture, identity, diversity, and universal EDI into mainstream practice by design rather than as an add-on.
