Remembering Arike
It’s been four years since our dear beloved Arike’s death. His partner, Leah Thorn, has shared with us a video of edited clips from the celebration event two years ago, which included the ‘unveiling’ of the bench honouring Arike’s memory.
The bench, designed by Pete Philips as a harp, is on the beachfront near the Bandstand on The Leas—Folkstone—down the ZigZag Path (see map below)
A long-time friend, Alexander D Great, a fabulous calypsonian, has written, recorded and performed a beautiful song for Arike below.
