Event, Training and Group Booking Terms and Conditions

Hereafter; the term Event will mean event, training or group.

Booking does not automatically constitute confirmation of a place. BAATN will confirm all bookings by email or in writing on receipt of a completed booking and payment in full.

For BAATN gatherings:

Most BAATN gatherings are free for members and can be booked any time up until the day before the event. Bookings for non-members can be made at any time except a week ahead of the event. For non-members booking reservations without payment will be held for 1 week before being offered to another person. Without payment in full places cannot be guaranteed. All bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

For trainings/conferences and closed groups:

Bookings for trainings, conferences and closed groups can be made any time up until the day before the event. Full payment would need to be made to guarantee a place. If payment has not been made a week before the event the place will be offered to another person.

Limitation of liability

BAATN does not accept responsibility for accident, injury or loss suffered while attending events unless it is directly due to negligence on its part.

BAATN reserves the right to amend or cancel any event dates. In the unlikely occurrence of a event cancellation, BAATN will return any payments received in advance. BAATN will not, however, refund any costs incurred as a result of this cancellation.

BAATN Event Refund Policy

There will be no penalty for cancellations received on or before the date 30 days prior to the first day of an event. The full amount paid minus a £2-£4 (depending on the event) processing fee will be refunded. A cancellation fee of 50% of registration costs plus the processing fee fee will be applied for cancellations received between 29 to 10 days before an event. No refund will be issued for cancellations received less than 10 days before the first day of an event.

Late requests for refunds due to a family emergency only will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Deposits are non-refundable.

All cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail connect@baatn.org.uk or post to BAATN 11216, PO Box 6945, London, W1A 6US. Please email cancellations, if possible, and expect confirmation within two days.

Early Bird Payments

If you are making an early bird for an event payment please make sure payment reaches us by the early bird cut off date. Please note your place is provisional until payment has been received.

Privacy Policy

We are dedicated to only deliver the emails that you want. We are also committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors; in this policy we explain how we will treat your personal information and how we communicate with you.

Personal information is collected on this website in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The regulations, applicable from the 25th May 2018, ensure the following:

  • The right to be forgotten – You will easily be able to unsubscribe from emails and when requested you can ask us to delete ALL of the data we have that is associated with you.
  • The right of access – You can ask us exactly how we are using your data and for what purposes. You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you provided you supply appropriate evidence of your identity.
  • Breach Notification – We will inform you of any breach of information within 72 hours of us becoming aware of such a breach

Any collected personal information will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to any person or party, and will only be used to communicate our news and events to you as well as to inform you of a booked cancelled event or in relation to payments for membership, events and products from us.

Access:

Keeping your information accurate and up-to-date is important so we can provide you with helpful information and services. You may update, correct, or delete personal information by modifying your user profile. You can choose not to receive information about specific information, or any other promotional materials, from us by direct mail and/or e-mail at any time by modifying your communication preferences also located in your user profile.

Payments

All our website financial transactions are handled through our payment services provider, Stripe. You can review the provider’s privacy policy at https://stripe.com/gb/privacy. We will share information with our payment services provider only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via our website, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.

Passwords

You are responsible for keeping the password you use for accessing our website confidential; we will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to our website).
