Yvonne John is the author of ‘Dreaming of a Life Unlived: Intimate Stories and Portraits of Women Without Children’ (2016). As a passionate activist and public speaker, she has shared her journey of navigating the grief of involuntary childlessness on platforms such as BBC Radio 4’s ‘Woman’s Hour’ and the BBC One documentary ‘Myleene: Miscarriage & Me’.

A graduate of the year-long Gateway Women (GW) Plan B Mentorship program, Yvonne is also a trained facilitator of GW’s Reignite Weekend Workshops, the Sacred Woman Retreat and an ambassador for World Childless Week. She is committed to creating inclusive spaces for Black women and Women of Color to openly share their childless journeys. As a leading voice on the intersection of infertility and race, she continues to amplify these stories through her blog, Finding My Plan B (www.findingmyplanb.com).
