Param Singh Sahni

Conference Speaker

Param Singh (Sahni) is a Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and soon-to-be Psychotherapist. Co-founder of The Work UK, a platform dedicated to transforming the emotional lives of black and brown men. He has been helping people internationally within the rehabilitation and addiction field for the past decade. As a South Asian man raised in the shadow of imperialistic racism, cultural expectation, and the pressures of performative masculinity under the white gaze of capitalism, Param brings professional and emotional depth with lived experience of violence, trauma and suffering into the therapeutic spaces he shares.

His practice is grounded in cultural attunement, embodied exploration, and the belief that masculinity must evolve (or perhaps remember) if men are to heal. Param works extensively with challenges around identity, loss of identity, relationships, existential issues that manifest as addiction, the dynamics of power, and the legacy of colonialism. His approach is holistic and humanistic, rooted in the conviction that no one should be reduced to the symptoms of their suffering.

Over the years, he has supported individuals across a broad spectrum of society, from the ultra-wealthy to those sleeping rough; holding fast to the teachings of spiritual masters, including universal principles of truth, selfless service, sovereignty, and the quest for creating communities grounded in compassion, integrity, and collective liberation.
