Kritija Saxena
Kritija (she/her) uniquely integrates her lifelong dance training with over a decade of mental health expertise. A Kuchipudi dancer, she blends the arts and therapy in her work. Currently, she works as a Dramatherapist (HCPC) in NHS forensic services while also having a private practice. She has worked in the capacity of a consultant at a leading mental health hospital in India, has developed creative youth programs for a Tamil Nadu nonprofit organisation, and curated various workshops. At heart, she’s a creator who pours her passion into a tangible vision and encourages others to be their best. She’s as enthusiastic about raising mental health awareness as she is about her next dance performance. Though she has one foot rooted in tradition as an Indian classical dancer, Kritija continues breaking new ground in merging art, culture, and psychology.
