Location: Nottingham

Salary: £45000 – £55000 FTE based upon experience and qualifications

Hours: part time, 4 days per week, to include Tuesdays, job share may be considered

Contract type: permanent

SPTI has a reputation for excellence, with over 30 years’ experience providing professional training in Psychotherapy and Counselling across a range of levels from Introductory to MSc programmes. Our degree courses are validated by Staffordshire University and are accredited by BACP (BSc programme) and UKCP (MSc programmes).

As a member of the Director Team, the postholder will be a key member in the strategic leadership of SPTI with responsibility for budget holding, planning, and management of change and innovation in relation to training. They will work closely with and supervise our established team of experienced Programme Leaders and Tutors and as such will need to have a deep understanding of the psychotherapeutic processes involved in training delivery. They will need a clear understanding of the field and the partners and regulatory bodies with whom we work and be able to represent us at a local and national level. Liaising with our University Partner and our accrediting bodies, the postholder will be responsible for the maintenance, growth and development of our range of training programmes whilst ensuring compliance with all academic, ethical and professional standards.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced manager, psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor who is UKCP and BACP registered. They must have significant experience of psychotherapy and counselling programme management, delivery and development and a clear understanding of the context within which we deliver training.
