Restoration Therapy is a hybrid online and face-to-face clinic that provides counselling and psychotherapy services for individuals seeking mental health support. We prioritise offering a safe and high-quality service, backed by the full support of our multidisciplinary team, ensuring that both clients and practitioners are well cared for.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking Master’s level students or qualified counsellors/psychotherapists who are empathetic, have a strong work ethic, and maintain firm professional boundaries. This is an ideal role for individuals who are eager to expand their experience and make a meaningful contribution to the mental health sector.

As a Volunteer Counsellor with Restoration Therapy, you will have the opportunity to:

– Receive support with the cost of supervision and room hire
– Have your mileage covered
– Participate in regular CPD (Continued Professional Development) opportunities

The minimum requirements for a volunteer counsellor include:

– Holding professional membership with BACP, UKCP, or an equivalent body
– Engaging in regular supervision with a fully qualified supervisor
– Holding professional indemnity insurance
– A valid DBS check
– Adhering to the BACP code of ethics
