Location: On site in various locations in Lambeth, with occasional travel to Head Office (Aldgate East)

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for Psychotherapist to join our Lambeth Emotional Well-being Service (LEWS) based in South London.
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.
Together with our partners, we support thousands of homeless young people each year.
You will work alongside other professionals in a multi-disciplinary team. Your experience of managing a caseload of Young People will mean you excel at working in partnership with Centrepoint colleagues in different departments, partner organisations and local services to ensure that our clients receive the support relevant to their mental, emotional and physical health needs. You will have a good working knowledge of primary healthcare and public health initiatives and you will be keen to acquire new skills and knowledge.
You will have experience of working with the homeless or otherwise vulnerable Young Adults aged 16-25 in a mental health setting. You will have a relevant, recognised qualification at post-graduate level in the field of counselling, psychotherapy or art therapy. You must be a current registered or accredited member of an appropriate professional body (eg BACP, UKCP, HCPC); with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
What you’ll be doing…
Your core responsibility will be delivering one-to-one psychotherapy to homeless Young People (aged16 – 25) in LEWS.
Building relationships with our colleagues in Housing, who are the Keyworkers in Services.
Being visible to Young People as a key part of promoting psychotherapy and other disciplines in the LEWS Team.
Maintaining appropriate records, using our IT and information management systems.
Communicating appropriately with a broad range of audiences.
