Outline
This reflective gathering will be a supportive space for therapists to come together in the wake of Professor Jason Arday’s tragic death. We will make room to process the grief, trauma, and emotions it may evoke in our clients, students, communities, and ourselves.
Together, we will reflect on the wider social and media contexts that enable far-right ideology and dehumanisation, while holding space for vulnerability, remembrance, shared grief, and release. The gathering aims to nurture collective support, dignity, compassion, and a renewed commitment to protecting Black lives.
