Free/ Subsidised Services

There are services available throughout the UK which offer free or subsidised counselling specifically set up to serve the Black, African & Asian community.

Many of these services encourage you to self-refer but if you are unsure your GP can signpost or assist you with a referral.

You should expect there to be a waiting list and you might be required to make a minimal contribution to the session fees if you are able.

Your local MIND (National Association for Mental Illness) can be a good place to go for free counselling which is highly aware of providing services for the community that it serves. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
