A DJ Saved My Life – BAATN Online Dance Event

Are your dancing shoes covered in cobwebs? Missing fun times on the dance floor? Is your social life in the doldrums? Then this monthly BAATN Zoom event is for you.  
So, dust off your dancing shoes, get ready to boogie and shake your hips to some classic dance floor tunes and without having to book an Uber!
There will also be lots of opportunities to share your experiences of the healing power of music with other BAATN members during this fun and highly interactive monthly event.

Dennis has been a BAATN board member for last 10 years and is a member of BAATN’s Conference Sub Committee.

Dennis has run several online dance events since lockdown and facilitated a dance workshop at the last BAATN Conference, which inspired the idea for this monthly event.

Over the last three decades, Dennis has developed and facilitated personal development workshops, that explore themes around identity, self-esteem, assertiveness, relationships and sexual health.

Dennis also works as a part-time lecturer at The City Literary Institute, and currently delivers short courses on Anger Management, Group Facilitation, Gestalt and also facilitates Personal Development Groups for counselling students. 

Dennis is the Chair of Black Connection, a social network for older Black queer men and has also received two Black LGBT Community Awards in recognition of his work with Black queer communities in the UK.”

£15 per session

  • Only the next two upcoming dates will be open for registration at any one time.

  • If an event is full, email membershipandevents@baatn.org.uk to go on the waiting list. If a place becomes available before 5 pm on the day before the event, priority will be given to those at the top of the waiting list.
