BAATN brings Black, African, Asian and Caribbean (BAA&C) therapy professionals together for professional development, mutual support and inspiration. Through these types of connections, rather than isolation, there is a liberation of energy and passion in the individual to persue their ideals as therapists out in the world.
As a collective BAATN seeks to influence and support therapy organisations and training institutions to develop policies and ways of working that more fully meet the psychological needs of BAA&C people in the UK and supports other BAA&C people to enter the therapy profession.
Bringing BA&A therapists together
These events will connect you with other therapists of Black, African, Asian and Caribbean heritage to develop as therapeutic practitioners and to get mutual support and inspiration.
Forums for all Practitioners
BAATN runs events for the psychotherapy profession to support them and their institutions with how to make therapy more accessible and more able to meet the therapeutic needs of people from BAA&C backgrounds.
